Classes 6th and 7th:
Classes start on Fridays in mid-August and continue on alternate Fridays.
Cancellation Policy.
Generally, if the Jefferson County Public schools are canceled or dismissed early due to dangerous weather conditions, Cotillion classes will be canceled. If possible, Mrs. Kuhn will email everyone about the class status. Also, you may email or phone Mrs. Kuhn or check WAVE TV’s online cancellation list.
Each parent is assigned a class date to serve as a chaperone during the Cotillion season. The chaperones form a receiving line at the beginning of class, and each student couple proceeds through the line with the gentlemen introducing their partners and themselves to each chaperone. Students shake hands with each chaperone after being introduced.
Upon completion of the receiving line, the parents are welcome to stay and watch the rest of the class. Grandparents and other family members are welcome to attend with the parents.
